Cíes Islands
Located in the Vigo estuary, the Cíes Islands form part of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park. In Donón begins one of the most spectacular coastal routes in O Morrazo. From the area around Mirador da Caracola and Monte do Facho, various trails allow you to explore Costa da Vela and reach places such as Cabo Home, Punta Robaleira, Melide and Barra. A landscape of cliffs, hills and open ocean, particularly well suited to walking and enjoying the views.
SENDA DEL AGUA VIGO
The Senda del Agua follows the route of a water pipeline along the hillsides near Vigo. The trail passes through woodland, small villages and areas offering sweeping views of the Vigo estuary. At various points along the way, you can see the Rande Bridge and the San Simón inlet, making it an excellent route for discovering a different perspective of the Rías Baixas.
