From O Igrexario Vacacional, we recommend the award-winning most beautiful beach in the world. Rodas is one of those beaches that you have to see at least once in a lifetime. Mind you, keep a close eye on your food: the gulls of Cíes are always ready to take centre stage and become the true masterminds of Money Heist..

BEACH BAR there are options like the Rodas Restaurant or the Cíes Islands campsite.

Melide Beach
Melide is well worth a visit, but before leaving O Igrexario Vacacional make sure you hold onto the exhaust pipe tightly, just in case it drops off along the way. Go slowly, lovingly dodge the potholes and think of the views of the Cíes as your reward.

Barra Beach
O Igrexario Vacacional recommends Barra Beach, it is one of those places that reconciles you with nature in its purest state. Its fine, white sand, almost like talcum powder, invites you to walk barefoot for hours while feeling the contrast with the crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic.
What really makes it special is its wild essence: here there is no smoke, no noise, and no buildings that spoil the landscape. It is an unspoilt beach where the air is clean and time seems to go more slowly.

Nerga Beach
Nerga is one of those beaches that has almost everything: fine white sand, clean water, a natural setting and a large pine grove that is perfect for seeking shade on the hottest days. Its size, amenities and easy access make it one of the most complete options for spending a family day out without giving up the landscape of O Hío. If you are indecisive when it comes to choosing a beach bar, this is not the place for you, as it has 3 of them to enjoy and make the most of your experience.

AREABRAVA BEACH
Even though its name is Areabrava, its fine white sand embraces you to rest, disconnect and enjoy your holidays with the melody of the waves in the background. Surrounded by nature and bathed by the calm waters of the Aldán estuary, it is a perfect beach to let the hours pass without looking at the clock, where you will be very close by to later take your final dip from the most comfortable house in O Hío.
What really makes it special is its wild essence: here there is no smoke, no noise, and no buildings that spoil the landscape. It is an unspoilt beach where the air is clean and time seems to go more slowly.

If you're looking for relaxation and activities, Menduiña is a great choice. You can get there by bike or car, enjoy windsurfing or beach volleyball, and end the day at its beach bars. On the right-hand side, among the rocks, it's also common to see people jumping into the water, although great care should always be taken.

BEACH BAR Yes, there are several options right by the beach. At O Pópolo, we recommend enjoying a pizza with an ice-cold soft drink or a glass of sangria.

TIP: on the right-hand side, among the rocks, it is common to see people jumping into the sea, although we do not recommend doing so unless you are familiar with the area and the water conditions. Just a few metres away, you will also find natural shade, perfect for relaxing before heading back to O Igrexario.
